Our 5 favourite short length bridesmaid dresses
Thinking about bridesmaid dresses and wondering where to start, well if your thinking short length then look no further; we at TL Bridal have inspiration for you.
This stunner is a very suitable option for your bridesmaids. The length is not too short and is flowly for a lighter feel/look which will compliment your wedding dress, whichever style you go for.
The neckline is lovely, to suit full or modest bust with a sheer lace overlay. The lace over the bodice is delicate but has its own pattern so if you are wearing a lace wedding dress, best avoid this pattern unless it matches yours.
The colour is gorgeous for a spring or summer wedding but may not suit all complexions so best to have your bridesmaids try this colour on before committing.
This flirty number will compliment all wedding dress styles and fabrics given its simple tulle material. The ruching across the bust and pleats over the waist and hips will hide any lumps and bumps but because the waist line is high, this could make our hour glass shaped bridesmaids exaggerate the hips so certainly ask your bridesmaids if they will be happy with this as you don’t want grumpy or self conscious friends on your wedding day.
The silver/grey colour is lovely and will compliment all seasons and colour schemes so is very versatile. Personally love this colour!
Cannot go wrong with a sweetheart neckline, pulled in bodice and flowing skirt. The wide straps will narrow the shoulders suiting most body types.
The navy blue colour is a popular choice and will compliment all complexions. Can be a bit dark for spring and summer but is definitely workable with most colour schemes.
An unusual neckline can show some individualism to bridesmaid dresses which can be seen as generic. This cross over halter is lovely and would be gorgeous for a spring or summer wedding. Be careful because halter necks will exaggerate the shoulders so if your bridesmaids are self conscious about their shoulders (surprising how many ladies feel they have broad shoulders) then speak to them before buying these lovely dresses.
This style may also not be suitable for the big busted!
The colour is a charcoal grey and can be seen in summer (with pastel colour scheme) autumn (warm autumnal colours) and winter (cool or traditional Christmas colours).
Personally love this style, it’s girly and fun but you need confident bridesmaids to wear this little beaut!
Loving the full tulle skirt and sweetheart strapless neckline. This again could compliment all styles and fabrics of wedding dress! Easy for spring and summer and can be accessorised with a shrug for autumn and winter. Very cute!
